The Call of Duty series is undoubtedly one of the most popular, if not the most popular FPS (First Person Shooter) series in the history of computer games. For sure, not one airsoft player decided to start his adventure in the hobby inspired by a game from the CoD series. Or end it, experiencing the shock of seeing that the opponent also aims and thinks, one bullet eliminates the player from the game, and the physique and condition of the "professional CoD player" do not allow him to be effective and only make him a bigger, slower target.

The plots of the games in the CoD series range from the Second World War, through the Cold War to modern times and even the far future. Given that CoD is an FPS game, firearms are its most important element. Each part of the iconic series is full of weaponry from the period in which the plot of the single player campaign is set.
